 What diameter seatposts can use PakRak commuter carriers?

They are adjustable to fit a range of seatpost sizes. Check individual carrier product information for details.

 What is the carry weight limit? - 10 kg (22 lb).

 Can I mount panniers on these carriers? - No. They are designed to carry top-mounted bags only. Using panniers may interfere with the wheels and is potentially dangerous. If you need to use panniers, you should purchase an Ibera (frame-mounted) touring carrier.

 Will these carriers fit on a folding bike or a small wheeled bike? - They should, depending on seatpost diameter. Check individual carrier product information for details.

 When I try to install my seatpost carrier it is too loose (or too tight)? - PakRak Commuter Carriers are compatible with a range of seatposts diameters. Check the specifications of the individual product for details. Insert one or both of the supplied rubber sizing shims to achieve a tight, secure fit.

 Can I use a commuter carrier for off-road riding? - No, we don't recommend it. It is well-made and sturdy, but not specifically engineered for the extreme rigours of some off-road situations. If you do, you'll void your warranty.

 WARNING

•  Do not attach carrier to carbon fibre seatposts.
• Max. load 10 kg (22 lb).
• Do not carry people on carrier, including children in a child seat.
• Do not use for off-road riding.
• Ensure PakRak or other bags are securely attached to carrier before using.
• Ensure all bolts are tight before each use.
